DWR ROUND 300: A Semi-Automatic Labeler for Cylindrical Products

DWR ROUND 300 is a semi-automatic labeler for applying self-adhesive labels to cylindrical products. It is available in a version with a maximum label width of 300 millimeters and a roll holder that accepts rolls with a maximum diameter of 300 millimeters.

The electronics are based on a single board made with SMD technology and uses a 16-bit microprocessor. The user interface is via a two-line LCD display with 20 characters and 7 function keys. The software allows you to store up to 40 different work programs, inserting all the label information and application type into the program. This makes format change extremely fast.

The label is read by a fork-shaped photocell with transparency reading. An ultrasonic sensor is available for reading the thickness in the case of using transparent labels. DWR ROUND can apply a wrap-around label or front and back, even of different sizes placed on the same roll. DWR ROUND can also apply a register label, for example by reading a color notch on the product or by reading a previously applied label.

DWR ROUND can be equipped with an HP inkjet marker for writing variable data such as date and time, barcodes, texts with a maximum height of 12.7 mm and a resolution of 300 dpi. The printing speed is synchronized to the label advance speed.
